Zusack dominated in the tournament playoffs, throwing a CG shutout. Got ahead of hitters w/ his FB/SL combo, consistently producing soft contact and whiffs. Lives outside w/ tailing FB while mixing in a big SL. Throws from a H3/4 slot, landing soft and balanced down the mound. Young LHP w/ good upside as he fine tunes his repertoire and builds strength in the coming years.

RHH 3B showcased ability to spray the field w/ power to deep gaps. Barreled two 2Bs in first game of the day, one to the outside and one backside. Simple approach w/ physical + efficient lower half. Strong uphill swing path, staying through baseballs w/ good extension. Dependable defender at 3B paired w/ athletic feet and above average speed.

Bodhi Fonseca (‘28, MA) • OF • 5’10 170lb

Fonseca hit a walkoff 1B to send his team to the championship. Strong RHH sets up in upright stance w/ short and connected swing. Explosive barrel w/ quick hands and extension through ball. Hit the ball hard in the final day of the tournament, making pitchers work and making tough plays in the OF.

Ethan Mecchi (‘28, NJ) • OF • 5’9 145lb

Strong LHH - confident presence in the box displaying noticeable pull side pop on a ground rule 2B to RF. Calm in the box w l/ smooth, controlled tempo and load. Good rotation behind the ball w/ uphill bat path and clean one handed finish. Hit the ball hard and put together great AB’s all day. Made plays in the OF, cutting off balls in the gap and showing off a strong and accurate arm. A tough out and a projectable middle of the order bat. Keep an eye on Mecchi as he continues to fill out and fine tune his tools.

Adam Carpenter (‘25, RI)  • RHP • Rhode Island Commit • 6’3 190lb 

The Rhode Island commit looked dominant in his outing today to secure his team the championship. Generated a lot of whiffs on the SNK in on the hands of RHHs. Mixed in a short SL and fading CH. Pitch with poise and confidence on the mound, came up clutch at the right time.

RHP had a solid outing on the bump today in the semifinals. 4 scoreless frames to help his team secure a spot in the championship game. Generated a lot of whiffs on the FB. 11/5 CB that he landed for strikes often, freezing hitters. Good day at the plate with a good eye for the zone, generating long at-bats and drawing walks.
