Smooth LHH w/ a free and easy swing. Barrel gets through the zone on a level plain producing loud contact for a RBI 2B to pullside. Showed consistency all day including a no doubt HR in today's championship game. Tournament MVP.

Christian Sawyer (‘27, IA) • RHP • Uncommitted • 6’4” 205lb

6'4" 205lb athletic RHP w/ a ton of upside. Shows efficient command for all pitches producing a lot of whiff. Balanced leg lift, rides strong back leg w/ a downhill direction to the plate. Had an efficient outing mixing pitches well and keeping hitters off balance. 

FB: 85-87mph T88 / 1830rpm / 8'8" EXT

CB: 70mph / 1992rpm / -9.2" IVB / -13.5" HB

Shane Carroll (‘26, IA) • RHP • Uncommitted • 6’0” 195lb

Physical RHH w/ a powerful lower half. Quick hands allows the barrel to be on time for a loud 2B off the LF wall. Big frame w/ a lot of power. Did an excellent job finding barrels all weekend.

Alex Williams (‘26, IA) • RHP • Uncommitted • 6’0” 170lb

Lanky LHP w/ a whippy arm action. Closed front side w/ a powerful lower half and good command. Locates all pitches well w/ several swing and misses. Showcased a lot of positive things on the mound today. Held runners well and kept hitters off balance all day.

Hunter Marcley (‘30, NE) • RHP • 5’8” 135lb

Hunter showed us a lot today hitting baseballs all over the place. He has a balanced stance w/ a level bat path. Stays on the breaking ball for a hard LD over 3B for an RBI 1B.

Kellen Hines (‘28, IA) • LHP

Smooth LHP w/ an easy delivery from a 3/4 arm slot. Pounds the zone well w/ FB and shows good command w/ CB producing a ton of whiff. Hit his spots in his outing today, forcing hitters to be behind in the count.

CB: 65mph / 2184rpm / -13.7" IVB / 17.9" HB

Had a very smooth repeatable delivery that shows consistency. Has a very clean OTT arm slot showing good command w/ all pitches. Showed a 2 pitch mix w/ FB and SL.

Quinn Wheeler (‘28, IA) • RHP • 6’1” 188lb

A true athletic LHH w/ a strong lower half and quick hands. Lots of loud contact in today's games. Showed that his hands stay through the zone w/ efficient extension for a hard 2B.

Tavian Soppe (‘26, IA) • 1B/RHP • Uncommitted • 6’3” 210lb

6'3" 210lb physical RHP, shows good command for all pitches, quality arm shoulder separation w/ downhill movement to the plate. Simple OTT 3/4 arm slot showing a sharp CB. Really stood out today w/ a 2 pitch mix. Kept hitters guessing during his outing.

CB: 74mph / 1788 / -2.5" IVB / -4.2" HB

Dayson Workman (‘27, IA) • RHP • Uncommitted 

Balance stance, keeps hands back w/ load, efficient weight transfer into front side allowing barrel to stay level for a hard LD 2B. Loud contact all day, driving the baseball pull-side and to the opposite field. Stayed calm in the box on every pitch.
