Simon Malcolm (‘26, IL) • 2B • Uncommitted • 5’9 145lb

Smooth load w/ a simple leg kit. Good extension and feel for the barrel through the zone w/ lower half power. In the first game of the day he hit a hard LD 2B to pullside. Stayed consistent w/ several loud barrels leading to multiple hits.

Brady Lester (27, NE) • OF • 5’10 183lb

5 '10 " 183lb physical RHH, wide stance w/ good separation, activates the lower half when foot hits the ground w/ an uphill barrel path for a 3B. Brady put together several good AB’s today, showcasing good presence in the box w/ consistently making loud contact.

Ty Heydon (‘27, IA) • RHP

Physical RHH, stays back in lower half, smooth load w/ quick hands. Simple actions in the box, shows great feel for the barrel for a 2RBI backside 3B. Ty showed a great display of quick hands combined with power. Several hard hit balls all day with high EV.

Colton Sebring (‘29, IA)  • LHP • 6’0” 170lb

Physical LHH, easy load w/ aggressive lower half. Keeps hands back allowing good timing and rhythm for a long and loud HR to RF. Colton stayed w/ a simple approach in today's games. Loud barrels w/ smooth and easy swings providing loud noise.

Lucas Patterson (‘29, IA) • Utility • 5’10” 140lb

Tall compact stance, smooth toe tap load w/ quick hands. Stays tall through contact w/ good direction for a loud HR to LF. Showcased a smooth and simple swing all day. Loud barrels, consistent approach and quality AB’s.

Luke Merrick (‘28, IA) • Utility • 6’2” 200lb

Upright stance, smooth load w/ quick hands. Short compact swing w/ level bat path for a 2k RBI 2B. Short and easy swings w/ a simple approach helped him stay consistent all day. Several high EV for him that led to multiple hits throughout the day.

2B: 95mph / 22°

Greyson Ballinger (‘28, IA)  • RHP • 6’” 175lb

6'0" 175lb athletic RHP, good downhill direction w/ quick arm action. High leg kick w/ connection throughout motion. Quality command w/ FB and flashes a solid SL for a 2 pitch mix. Dominated on the mound today throwing all pitches for strikes. Someone to keep an eye on in the 2028 class.

FB: 82-84mph T85 / 2287rpm / 7'8" EXT

SL: 70mph / 2254rpm / -5.9" IVB / -9.8" HB

Brycen Welch (‘28, IA) • RHH

Simple stance w/ good balance to contact. Aggressive backside power w/ level barrel to the ball. Hard LD to the middle of the field. Really came to the plate with an aggressive approach hitting FB early showcasing good timing and rhythm.

Showcased a quiet stride and a simple load throughout the day. Smooth upper half while staying connected through the zone for a 2K 2RBI 1B to pullside.
