  • Avg Spin: 2200 rpm
  • Avg Movement: -4.5 HB | -12.3 IVB

  • Pitch Profile: He established the tempo with a high 80s fastball that carried well through the zone. • Avg Spin: 2300 rpm
  • Avg Movement: -8 HB | 0.9 IVB
  • Pitch Profile: The slider played naturally off the fastball, arriving nearly 10 mph slower with a very tight movement profile. Rather than having a lot of sweep across the zone, the pitch maintained its shape while showing some late gloveside action, providing a solid secondary option.

Peter Pasquarella, Bucks County Generals 2027, Uncommitted (RHP, 2027)

Pasquarella showed one of the deeper arsenals of the whole week, attacking hitters with four legit pitches that each have distinct movement profiles. Working from a compact, repeatable delivery, he stays under control while creating good direction downhill towards the plate. Rather than relying on pure power and velocity, he consistently mixes speed and shapes giving hitters a different look nearly every pitch and making it difficult to settle into the box

Fastball

  • Avg Velo: 84.5 mph | T 87 mph
  • Avg Spin: 2200 rpm
  • Avg Movement: 19.2 HB | 5.9 IVB
  • Pitch Profile: His fastball features significant armside movement, producing nearly 20 inches of run that allowed the pitch to move aggressively through the zone. Instead of relying on velocity and carry, his heater created uncomfortable angles and late movement that helped generate weak contact while also opening up the rest of the arsenal.

Curveball

  • Avg Velo: 67.4 mph | T 68 mph
  • Avg Spin: 2500 rpm
  • Avg Movement: -20.3 HB | -16.2 IVB

  • Avg Spin: 2600 rpm
  • Avg Movement: -17.5 HB | -6.5 IVB
  • Pitch Profile: The slider was the sharper of his two breaking balls, featuring high spin with plus gloveside sweep. The pitch contrasted well with the fastballs heavy run, giving hitters a completely opposite movement pattern and serving as a very effective swing and miss pitch when he got ahead in counts.

Changeup

  • Avg Velo: 74.8 mph | T 76 mph
  • Avg Spin: 1100 rpm
  • Avg Movement: 8.8 HB | -1.7 IVB
  • Pitch Profile: The change added another layer to the mix, coming out of his hand with the intent of a fastball before separation and naturally dropping out of the zone with also armside movement. The low spin helped the pitch play with deception, allowing it to disrupt timing and complement the fastball.

Pasquarella's ability to mix four quality pitches was what stood out the most. Each pitch brought a different shape and velocity range, allowing him to sequence incredibly effectively and keep hitters unsettled all day. The fastballs heavy armside run, the slider’s sweep, the curve's depth, and the changeup's drop all complemented each other naturally. Combined with a repeatable delivery and a controlled tempo, the four pitch mix gives him a well rounded foundation and the versatility to attack hitters in a variety of ways.

  • Avg Spin: 950 rpm
  • Avg Movement: 8.1 HB | -6.3 IVB
