Lanky LHH w/ plenty of physical projection as he matures, showing a smooth toe tap load to stay on time. Sinks into his backside effectively, creating a strong base to drive through the ball w/ a direct bat path and quick hands. Gets the barrel in the zone early and keeps it there, picking up another base hit to push his RBI total to 3 on the day. Shows a calm, confident approach with the ability to deliver consistently in run-producing situations.

Uses a high leg lift to generate momentum and creates solid extension down the mound from a H ¾  arm slot. Displays a free and easy arm action w/ repeatable, consistent mechanics that allow him to stay in rhythm. Doesn’t try to overpower hitters but instead relies on pitchability to induce weak contact, working quickly to keep hitters off balance. Shows poise and efficiency, attacking the zone w/ confidence.

Lanky frame w/ plenty of physical upside as he continues to develop. Utilizes a toe tap load while starting his hands out before smoothly bringing them back into launch position, creating a controlled, repeatable sequence. Features a flat barrel path through the zone, allowing him to stay on plane and drive a hard-hit ball to the pull side added a 2B later in the game. Shows promising bat speed and a clean, efficient swing w/ room to add more power as he matures. Turned in 4 IP allowing only 1 ER keeping hitters away from the barrel.

Good rhythm at the plate w/ a minimal coil load, staying simple and balanced. Shows a solid weight shift, sinking into his backside effectively to build a strong hitting base. Drops the barrel on an upward plane, driving a low LD 1B back up the middle to plate a run w/ 2 outs. Displays a confident, situationally aware approach w/ the ability to execute under pressure.

Sets up w/ a compact, slightly open stance and starts his hands high, creating a clean launch position. Utilizes a low leg lift to stay controlled and balanced, allowing him to adjust to offspeed pitches and get the barrel out front. Lines a sharp RBI 1B on an offspeed offering and later adds another solid 1B, showing consistent contact skills and the ability to handle different pitch types. Displays a mature, confident approach w/ good feel for timing.

Athletic RHH 3B showed confidence and discipline in the box. Starts upright w/ low controlled leg lift and good separation w/ hands in load. Stays behind the baseball w/ good extension and barrel control. Got hands out front to drive a 3-Run homer to LF. Dependable defender at 3B w/ smooth hands and good arm w/ accuracy / carry. Projectable RHH 3B w/ raw pop to the pull side.

Athletic RHH OF w/ good actions on both sides of ball. Controlled high leg kick w/ aggressive, slightly uphill swing. Good barrel control and ability to spray liners to all parts of field. + runner w/ ability to steal bags and high IQ on the field. Stole home and multiple bases throughout the day. Good first step in OF w/ ability to track it down in deep gaps.

Stays inside the ball well and uses the whole field. High baseball IQ with a grinder mentality, could blossom as he matures physically and adds strength. A strong foundation of tools and instincts makes him a name to watch.

Gentile making a statement offensively in his bracket play game. Gentile has a great presence at the box. This strong build RHH uses a wide stance, minimal load w/ a toe tap, able to stay connected and use the whole field to his advantage, leveled swing w/ a slight uphill finish. Finding this barrel for a 2B towards deep RF to finish the game vs the opposition sending his team onto the next round. A good player to keep an eye on as he continues to mature.

Bryce had a great day at the plate in both of his bracket games. This lanky RHH, works w/ an upright stance, medium leg lift and short stride. Twitchy movements with his hands, able to stay connected keep a leveled swing. Great barrel control as he is able to use the whole field to his advantage. Huneycutt has a great presence in the box and his talent and skill makes him a threat at any moment of the game. Great player to keep an eye on as he has tons of room to fill out. Will continue to be an impactful player as he continues to grow and develop.

Philip Daly (‘27, NC) • RHP • Uncommitted • 6’3” 175lb


Daly showed up and delivered an outstanding performance on the first day of bracket play for the Riptide. This lanky RHP has a lot of room to grow. Works with a medium leg lift, full stroke and H 3/4 arm slot. Moves very well down the mound w/ an effortless delivery. Tunnels his pitches very effectively off of each other. Able to use breaking pitches in any count. Attacks the zone consistently. Daly show great command and good confidence behind his pitches able to create a lot of weak contact and good whiff %. A great arm to keep an eye on as he continues to grow and develop.

Long / lanky frame w/ a live arm. Works well down the mound w/ quick rotational power and repeatable mechanics. Throws from an OTT arm angle. FB has lots of ride and jumps on hitters generating lots of swings/ misses and soft contact. Mixes in a SL that misses barrels and shows the ability to land for consistent strikes.

Displays mature, confident plate presence w/ the potential for even more impact as he continues to develop.
