Had a great feel on the mound today, highlighting his capability of leveraging into a tournament game. Showing off his 2-pitch mix, getting whiffs throughout the day. Went the distance on day 1 of pool play. Showcasing his OTT arm slot and using his high leg kick to help his FB, which has some late life to it. Generating swings and misses on all of his pitches while using a 12/6 as his main pitch to get a K. CH has some fade, making weak contact on the hitters. DJ Silverstein (‘26, MA) • RHP • Uncommitted • 6’3 185lb

A funky RHP with a high leg kick performed in his outing today, with a ¾ arm slot showcasing that FB that has life running on hitters, no matter what side of the plate they are on. A wipeout SL makes hitters off balance, making it look deceptive with the funky delivery he has. Tunnels his Ch beautifully, gaining weak contact with ease. Strikeout first type pitcher racking 8 of them today in his outing, looking to do more damage going forward in the tournament.

He had a day at the plate today, providing so much support for his squad. Knocking in 4 RBI with his disciplined approach yet aggressive swing, looking for the gap. Clean follow 2- hand follow through on his swing with a small leg kick. Very good base runner as well, scoring 3 R as well, making him responsible for 7 of 9 runs his squad scored today. Look out for this kid heading into this weekend.

Robert Wunsch (‘25, CT ) • RHP • Umass Boston • 5’10 165lb

The UMass Boston commit put on a stellar performance in the late game slate. Smooth, explosive windup delivery with a semi-high leg kick with a ¾ arm slot. Overpowering the hitters with his FB, getting whiffs consistently while on the bump. Pounding the zone with ease did it at a very high rate. Wipeout CB was on display today, making the hitters out in front and off balance, dotting the outer half of the plate to RHH. CH had late depth and utilized it effectively during high-leverage counts.
