Logan Buchanan (‘27, FL) • Utility/RHP • Uncommitted • 6’4 215
Buchanan, from The Benjamin Private School, put on a show in the box in today’s morning matchup for his team. The strong RHH proved he can come clutch with runners on & can hit for power to the gaps, hitting a deep RBI 2B to LCF to put his team atop in the early stages of the game. He starts with an upright & relaxed stance, and has a tight rotation that allows him to stay square to the ball. Came in to relief for his team, showed some pitchability and command. Could be a possible two-way in near future if he decides to. Great, confident presence both on mound and in the box.
2-2, 2 double, BB, RBI

John Gano (‘26, NY) • Utility/RHP • Uncommitted • 5’10 142lbs
Gano, from Jensen Beach High, showed today he has legit two-way potential in the near future. In the box, he showcases a wide & relaxed stance, with a quiet confidence pre-pitch. He has a slight weight-shift load with a medium front leg lift, while creating a tight stretch between upper and lower half. He does an amazing job of keeping his hands inside and driving the ball with G2G power. On the mound, he carry’s that quiet presence that he has in the box. He stands tall pre-pitch, with a big leg kick beginning his delivery. Uses his legs exceptionally well and comes from a high 3/4 arm slot. Will be nice to see how he fills out in the near future.

RHH w/ relaxed, upright stance. Small leg lift, creates good depression between lower & upper half. Tight rotation w/ nice two-handed extension, rips FB to deep LCF for RBI 2B #PBOpen | #Uncommitted | @TKRecruitingNY

Chayce Martinez (‘26, FL) • 1B/Utility • Uncommitted • 6’3 225lbs
Martinez proved himself to be a solid bat in today’s tight game. The strong RHH starts in an upright, athletic stance with a slight bend in the knees and hands set at head height. Uses a soft stride gather, keeping the move simple and under control while creating great stretch between upper and lower half. The hands stay loose through the load, and the barrel comes through on a short, direct path. He stays inside the ball well and finishes balanced, with his head down through contact. Nothing seems forced or mechanical in his swing. Simply has a smooth, connected swing that gets to the ball clean.

Kellen Beckman (‘29, OH) • C • 5’9” 144
2-3, R, RBI, SB
Beckman played a pivotal role in Los Explorers’ 5-0 win on Sunday. He had 2 hits, scored a run, knocked in a run, and stole a base. Defensively, he caught a 6-inning shutout. He sets up behind the dish in a knee down approach, and is quick to smother any pitch in the dirt. He has receiving and blocking skills well advanced for his age. Impressive player for the class of 2029.

Matthew Gonzalez
(‘27, FL) • INF • 5’11” 170lb
Matthew Gonzalez impressed at the plate with a strong, well-sequenced swing. The right-handed hitter timed up a high fastball and pulled it into deep left-center for an RBI double, showing quick hands and natural loft in the swing. He loads into his back hip efficiently and keeps the barrel in the zone, allowing him to drive the ball with carry to the gaps. His compact and aggressive approach points to upside as a run-producing bat in the middle of a lineup.

Michael Maiquez (‘27, FL) • RHP • 5’10” 170lb
Michael Maiquez turned in a dominant performance on the mound, throwing a no-hitter across 7 innings with 8 strikeouts and just one earned run. The right-hander showcased a fastball that sat 85–87 mph, coming in heavy on hitters with late life and firm intent. His ability to locate to both edges of the plate and mix effectively kept hitters off balance throughout the outing. Maiquez also featured a tight 76 mph slider that had late depth and served as a go-to weapon in two-strike counts, generating multiple swing-and-misses. With a strong lower-half drive and fluid mechanics, he maintained velocity deep into his start and showed poise under pressure.

RHP was dominant in his outing, tossing a no-hitter with 8 strikeouts across 7 innings. Came right after hitters w/ a mid-upper 8’s FB. Strong leg drive and good rotation. Mixed in a sharp slider at 76 that produced s/m and kept hitters off balance.… pic.twitter.com/haK4z75c8r
Joshua Hernandez (‘25, FL) • OF • 5’9” 144lb
Joshua Hernandez set the tone as a leadoff hitter, showcasing a quick bat and strong situational awareness. He stayed back on a pitch and drove a fastball down the right field line for a stand-up RBI triple, flashing both his hands at the plate and his speed on the bases. Hernandez showed the ability to generate extra-base hits with a compact swing and was a clear offensive spark plug. His energy and presence at the top of the lineup contributed to run production early.

Quality leadoff guy, pulls a RBI 3B into the RCF gap. Stays back on it and flies around the bases to show off his speed. Present bat to ball skills, low whiff rate and knack for finding the barrel.

Julius Lewis (‘26, FL) • INF • 5’6” 150lb
Lewis impressed at the plate in the two-hole with a consistent, aggressive approach and quick-twitch athleticism. He stayed on the FB well, driving one into the LCF gap to bring in a run and showing advanced bat speed with strong barrel control. Lewis maintained a balanced swing and attacked early in counts, creating solid contact throughout the game. His ability to stay short to the ball and use all fields makes him a threat in the top half of any lineup.

Athletic, quick-twitch swing. Stays aggressive at the plate and times up a high FB, sending it to LCF to drive in a run. #PBOpen | #uncommitted | @tclegendspsl

Ethan Bauder (‘28, FL) • RHP • 6’3” 182
Bauder pitched a complete game shutout in IS Elite’s 1-0 rain-shortened victory on Sunday, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 6. He gives hitters a tough look, creating great extension, using a long arm action that begins extended behind his head, and releasing the ball from a low 3/4 arm slot. It allows his FB to play up and his fading CH to create swings and misses. Bauder had a very projectable frame, standing 6’3” with room to fill out.
