Matthew Villena (‘27, FL) • Uncommitted • C • 5’11” 180lb

Athletic RHH catcher with a solid presence in the box. Went 1-for-2 with a stand-up RBI 3B and scored a run. Shows a compact swing with efficient rotation and good barrel accuracy. Uses a direct path and strength through contact to drive balls into the gaps. Good runner for a catcher with solid instincts on the bases. Continues to flash both offensive and defensive value behind the dish.

Erick Lasseter (‘26, FL) • Uncommitted • LHH • 6’2” 220lb

Physical LHH with a muscular, athletic frame that projects for big power numbers. At 6’2” 220lbs, he showcases explosive bat speed and torque through the zone, consistently finding barrels. Lasseter turned heads with a deep 3B into right field that traveled 330 feet at 94 mph off the bat. His upright setup and fast hands allow him to generate significant lift, and he handles velocity well. Strong follow with middle-of-the-order potential at the next level.

Juan Chacon (‘26, FL) • RHP • Uncommitted • 6’1” 170

Tall, lean RHP carved up hitters on Friday with his SNK-CH combo. Starting upright before dropping into a sidearm delivery, Chacon elicited weak contact and ground balls all day. The CH was his primary whiff pitch, a true equalizer. It resembled the sinker before dropping off the table. Interesting arm that is an uncomfortable funky look for hitters, keeps good hitters off balance.

Ryan Llambes (‘27, FL) • RHP • Uncommitted • 5’9” 165

Llambes earned the win for Kachi Baseball 17U in a tight 3-2 game. He used a heavy SNK, Hammer 11-5 CB, and SWP to overpower hitters. Induced lots of weak GBs especially with the SNK. The CB was the difference maker for Llambes, starting above the zone before snapping down and freezing batters. He worked with a quick and deliberate tempo on the mound. Impressive pitchability, command, and the ability to spin the ball well.
