Prototypical SP build, overpowers hitters with swing and miss stuff. Creates deception with a very high leg kick and low 3/4 arm slot. 4-seam ranges 90-92 with late arm side run. SL has plus horizontal break, breaking from edge to edge. Curveball is used as a change of pace pitch, with slurvy action. Commands the strike zone well with his fastball and does a good job keeping the slider down. Pounds the strike zone and goes right after hitters. Future starter in the next level with an intriguing upside.

Commanded a true three pitch mix. His FB touched 89 with run and ride, east to west sweeper averaging around 18 inches of HB and a slurvy curveball to provide another breaking ball offering with more depth.  He is able to sink into the back hip and smoothly transfer weight forward down the mound. Attacking from a L ¾ slot, his deceptive delivery is an added bonus to an overpowering combination of factors.  Starter projectability to follow this summer.

SL: 74-77 mph / 2000 rpm / 5” HB

CB: 70-73 mph / 2000+ rpm

Physical build, showcased a three pitch mix of a firm fastball, sweepy slider and big curveball.  His delivery consists of very deliberate movements where he coils deeply into his lower half, which helps generate velocity.  Mixed each pitch well sequencing differently to batters by handness and count. Arm to follow throughout the summer circuit.

High effort player with fearless mentality. On the mound, he worked fast downhill challenging hitters from OT arm slot. Threw all FB in his 1 inning of work, making the most of it with three strikeouts allowing just one walk. Velocity jump is still there as he continues to mature into his body.

Lanky RHP w/ violent arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. Works fast, attacking the strike zone w/ a 3-pitch mix. 4S has sneaky velo and late arm-side run. CB has downer action eliciting whiffs at a high rate. Changeup used rarely but efficiently, tunneling well off the FB. Pounded the strike zone all game, striking out 12 and walking none, getting through 7 shutout innings in 87 pitches. Future collegiate arm that throws strikes and attacks the zone w/ a bulldog mentality.

An exciting player with a plus arm and above average bat. He dominated on the mound in his performance against IS Elite 2027 Cuervo with little to no effort. Fastball had great zip through the fourth inning and had no signs of slowing down. He also helped himself by going 2-2 at the dish with 2 singles. High follow player this summer, with great upside as he continues to mature.

Simple delivery featuring whippy arm action from a L ¾ slot. Repeatable motion, effortlessly riding down the mound with his long frame. Rotates over a firm front side with easy falling slightly off the 1B side. Tons of upside for this arm as he continues to mature with a velocity jump in the future.

Powerful LHH with a twitchy swing. Subtle hand movement, gets barrel on plane early and stays on plane all the way through contact. Explosive to the ball, creates good separation with lower & upper body. Power type bat to follow this summer.

Athletic wirey mover in the box. Creates pre pitch rhythm into a compact coil load while keeping his upper body loose the entire time. Handys hitter that creates good extension out front with a scissor direction staying in the middle of the field. Put together a stellar weekend at the plate, good player to follow.

Lean athletic player with above average arm talent. Athleticism jumps out at you from the mound and behind the plate. On the mound, he attacked hitter mostly with the FB show a 4S and 2S at times with a good movement profile. Behind the plate the agile catcher presented the ball well, handled pitches in the dirt while controlling the running game. Productive with the bat, making himself an asset for his team this weekend.

Nick Althouse (‘27, FL) • C • Uncommitted • 6’1 165lb

Athletic body with a high ceiling. He is a smooth receiver behind the dish allowing him to steal strikes. Also equipped with some carry on his throws to all bases, he can also smother balls in the dirt very well. The uncommitted C is an interesting prospect to keep eyes on as he goes into his junior year.

Long levered frame that projects well with room to fill out in the future.  Barreled two balls 85+ mph, letting his level bat path and smooth stride take control.  Defensively, Day is able to flash the leather ranging to either side in order to make the play.  Uncommitted young player with lots of upside in all facets of his game.

Extremely athletic behind the plate moving well laterally with a pro style set up.  Arm talent is there with a combination of accuracy, along with a quiet glove that handled an above average pitching staff all weekend. Attacks hitters from an OT delivery with a FB-CB combo. Low leg kick, pitches downhill. FB gets good life up in the zone and gets on batters quickly. CB is sharp with bite and elicits whiffs. Works quickly, often waiting on batters to get back in the box. Shows intelligence on the mound and will only get better as he matures.

Dynamic RHH OF w/ the arm talent and athleticism to succeed on the mound. Athletic batting stance, quick hands w/ and uncanny ability to get the barrel to the ball. Top exit velocity tracked was 91. Above average to plus runner. On the mound, he topped out at 87 with a fastball with great life to it. Exciting combination of tools, is a player that needs to be watched throughout high school.
