Calm and composed presence in the box, demonstrating confidence in his approach. Creates separation in load w/ smooth, controlled movement that allows the hands to work through the zone. Displays strong bat-to-ball skills staying inside the pitch and driving it to the opposite field for a solid 1B to RF.

SL- 77mph / 2400rpm / IVB -6” / HB -12.5”


Has a loose, whippy arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. Showed good velocity in his outing consistently going after hitters w/ the 4S FB. Commanded the SL effectively and located both for strikes as well as chase pitches. Has room to grow into his 6'3 body which will add more velocity in the future.

Wide, athletic base w/ toe tap load and good rhythm. Good coil and rotation. Has room to grow which would allow him to obtain more power at the plate.

Good rhythm at the plate getting into back hip effectively and stays connected through the zone. Defensively he shows a smooth transfer while gaining ground on his throw downs. Accurate throws and good footwork behind the plate. Has some room to grow which will allow for more power and a stronger arm behind the dish.

Athletic and balanced stance. Has a minimal load and quick hands to the ball. Has good plate discipline and lays off balls out of the zone. Gets good extension through the ball at contact allowing for base hits. Adding a more complex load and filling out more will make him a more solid and consistent hitter in the future.

Lanky, projectable frame w/ noticeable room to fill out as he continues to mature physically. Works from a H ¾  arm slot w/ a clean, repeatable delivery that’s free and easy, showing natural rhythm and body control. Fastball sits at 85 mph with 2185 rpm, showing solid carry through the zone and potential for more velocity as strength develops. The slider comes in at 75 mph w/ advanced spin metrics (2490 rpm), flashing sharp break and late bite that can be an effective swing-and-miss offering. Poised on the mound w/ a smooth operation and strong foundation to build on.

Strong, physical frame w/ a  toe tap and efficient weight transfer throughout the swing. Shows the ability to sink into his back hip and stay grounded, creating leverage and balance through contact. Does a nice job covering the lower inside part of the zone, turning on the pitch and driving it for a hard-hit double. Demonstrates good lower-half mechanics and a feel for adjusting to tough locations.

Tall, upright stance w/ a toe tap that helps maintain rhythm and timing throughout the swing. Features a handsy, fluid stroke with a slight uppercut path, allowing him to generate lift while still making consistent line-drive contact. Stays balanced and connected, driving a hard line drive up the middle for a 2-RBI single. Shows a mature approach at the plate with the ability to stay on plane and handle pitches in the zone.

Strong, durable build w/ a thick lower half that provides a solid foundation and contributes to his overall stability on the mound. Utilizes a low leg kick to stay compact and controlled, allowing for a smooth, repeatable delivery w/ consistent timing. Throws from a clean ¾  arm slot, showing solid arm speed and the ability to repeat his mechanics w/ ease. Generates effortless velocity and maintains balance throughout the motion, projecting well for long-term durability and command development.

Compact, balanced stance w/ a toe tap load that keeps him on time and in rhythm. Features a flat bat path paired w/ a quick, handsy swing, allowing him to stay short to the ball and make consistent contact. Shows advanced plate coverage, particularly on the outer half, as he stays through the pitch and drives it the other way for a well-struck double. Demonstrates solid barrel control and a mature, all-fields approach at the plate.

Muscular RHP attacking from a H ¾ slot w/ a quick arm and violent release. Loads into his legs w/ a medium leg lift to work downhill. Used both pitches to remain on the attack w/ consistency in the zone. Remained poised when facing traffic on the bases to minimize damage. Strong arm on the mound w/ more room to grow as he matures.

Liam Watkins (‘28, OH) • CF • 5’11 120lb



2B: 84 mph | 16.4°

Lanky CF showcased his ability to use his quick hands to drive the ball to the pull side w/ force. Loads into his back leg well which transferred into a solid front side w/o compromising any power. Uses a toe tap and long stride from an open stance to build momentum throughout the swing. Room to grow within his frame which is sure to add additional power as he fills out.

Brendan Hengehold (‘28, MO) • 1B • 5’10 160lb



3B: 80 mph 


Athletic LHH 1B w/ an open stance displayed a knack for catching barrels. Used a toe tap to coil well w/ a minimal stride. Hands were quick and direct to the ball leading to multiple barrels throughout the game. Expect more power to come as he adds more strength to his frame.

Ian Gunning (‘28, KY) • LHP • 6’ 160lb


FB: 78 mph / 2051 rpm / 12.6” IVB / -11” HB

CB: 63 mph

CH: 70 mph 

Lanky LHP w/ three pitch mix from a H ¾ slot. Short arm stroke paired w/ a clean arm action from the left side gave hitters problems. Controlled a sneaky FB on both sides of the plate throughout the game. Was able to land the CB in the zone consistently as well as tunneling it off of his FB. Ability to produce swing and miss on all three pitches. More velo in the tank for this lefty as he tacks on additional weight.

Kai Johnson (‘28, MO) • OF • 5’9 140lb



Lean LHH OF showcasing the ability to hit line drives gap to gap. Creates power w/ his low leg lift and short stride which keeps his swing in rhythm. Handsy hitter w/ a slight uppercut in his bat path to help elevate. Caught multiple barrels today including a 2B. Athletic player w/ more power in the tank as he matures.
