Starts w/ a high leg lift that helps generate momentum and creates a strong weight shift through the swing. Stays balanced throughout the load and shows good lower-half engagement, allowing for a level bat path through the zone. Lets the ball travel deep and stays inside it well, driving it the other way with authority for a stand-up double. Simple, repeatable mechanics with signs of advanced barrel control and approach.

Lanky frame w/ plenty of room to add strength, showing promising physical projection. Starts from a slightly closed stance with a relaxed setup and uses a small leg lift to initiate a controlled, balanced load. Swing works on a slight uphill plane, allowing him to generate loft and backspin on contact. Stays through the ball well and gets extended, driving a 2-RBI triple into the RCF gap with authority. Shows developing power and a confident approach at the plate, w/ signs of more to come as the body matures.

2-run 3B: 86 mph


Lean, athletic frame w/ room to add strength as he continues to mature physically. Uses a toe tap to stay on time, paired with a fluid, well-controlled swing that shows natural rhythm. Maintains an efficient barrel path through the zone, allowing for consistent contact and line-drive carry to all fields. Drives a 2-RBI triple into the gap with authority, showing quick hands and solid lower-half involvement; earlier in the game, he also roped a double, flashing gap-to-gap potential. Displays a confident presence in the box w/ a swing that projects well as strength develops.

Alex Wright (‘28, MO) • OF/RHP • Uncommitted • 5’11 170lb


Athletic build w/ a strong, stable lower half and noticeable room for physical development as he matures. Utilizes a toe tap for timing and features a handsy swing that allows him to generate quick bat speed through the zone. Shows advanced feel for the barrel, staying short to the ball and driving it with authority. Laces a double into the left-center gap, showcasing his ability to handle all parts of the plate and find the sweet spot. Later in the game, he launched a two-run home run, highlighting his emerging power and impact potential at the plate.

Lanky RHP delivers the ball smoothly from a H ¾ slot and a funky arm action. Medium leg lift allows him to work downhill w/ repeatable mechanics. Showcased a FB w/ arm side run which moves late missing barrels. Utilized a Sweeper w/ late movement. Commanded both sides of the plate w/ both pitches. Potential to add more velo as he fills out his frame.

RHH w/ upright wide stance relying on his strong lower half to create a powerful swing. Stays inside the ball well w/ direct hands helping him generate consistent power to all fields. Present athleticism both behind the dish and at the plate. Projectable hitter w/ potential for more power as he adds more strength.
