Gabriel Sarmiento (‘29, FL) • SS/3B • 5’8 145lbs
Wide, upright stance with rhythm in his hands pre-pitch. He keeps his hands low, small leg lift during his stride. He stays connected, creating a compact swing that generates a ton of contact. He has great extension, with a high two-handed finish. Came up clutch with the bases loaded to score a few. Wiry frame with room to fill out.

Alexi Ramariz ('26, FL) • Switch Pitcher
Ramariz drew attention in his morning outing, as he showed some upside with both arms on the mound. As a RHP, supination bias with a real feel for spin. Relied heavily on a Sharp CB to generate whiffs. As a LHP gave a very different look, pounded the zone attacking hitters with a small SNKer and mixed in a SL. Up to 85/86 with FB from both sides. Clean, easy, repeatable 3/4 arm action from each side. Stuff plays from both sides.

Dylan Mendoza (‘29, FL) • MIF/RHP • Uncommitted • 5’8 125lbs
Mendoza is a contact oriented RHH who put on a great display today of situational hitting in this morning's matchup. He features a relaxed, upright stance that shows a quite presence pre-pitch. In his load, he shows a slight coil, getting into his legs well & into a strong launch position with a toe-tap load that keeps him on time. Creates a big stretch in his upper and lower half, while using his core to stay compact. On the field, he showcases smooth hands and quick feet, staying on line with his throws.

The athletic INF impressed in the batters box today. He had an aggressive approach, with the intent to do damage in his swings. Jacob Barnes (‘28, FL) • LHP • 5’9” 130
3 IP: 1H, 0ER, 4K
Threw 3 shutout innings allowing just 1 hit and striking out 4. Long-levered LHP working downhill, pitching out of over the top arm slot. He used a FB-CH combo to keep hitters off balance. The FB has ride up in the zone and plays up due to how well he hides the ball. The CH drops off the table and is a weapon to RHH. Barnes has sound mechanics with a little funk and room to grow.

Lanky RHP with high leg raise and high 3/4 arm path. He attacked both corners of the plate and kept the ball low in the zone to secure whiffs and groundballs. Bilecki's movement with the ASR FB worked wonders against hitters who had a hard time putting the barrel on the ball.

Urdaneta displayed two-way abilities on the field today, setting himself up to be a player to keep an eye on. Narrow stance and compact swing in the box. He sat on an offspeed to get a backside RBI 1B in his first AB.
On the mound, Urdaneta attacked low in the zone to secure groundballs. Medium leg raise and quick high 3/4 arm path. His easy and repeatable mechanics made him consistent throughout his outing. Velo won't blow you, but pitchability was good for his age.

John Escobar (‘29, FL) • 1B/OF • Uncommitted • 5’11
Escobar, an athletic, lefty hitter proved himself to be a clutch piece in his lineup with his aggressiveness and discipline in the box. The Westminster Academy product starts his stance with an open front leg, some weight shifted back, and his barrel slightly upright. In his load, he uses a rhythmic toe-tap that helps him react to both FB & offspeed pitches. He keeps his hands high before launching, creating a nice stretch between his upper and lower half. He uses his legs well, keeping his balance throughout his swing. It’ll be nice to see how he shapes up in the near future with his frame.

Dylan Dykov (‘28 FL) C • Uncommitted • 5’8 165lbs
The RHH/C had a day from both at and behind the plate, with an RBI 1B and many difficult blocks keeping his team in the game. Early and well timed lower half movement created great lower half separation, allowing him to create powerful back side rotation. Ability to understand pitch movement, especially low in the zone, gave him a headstart on dirtballs that would usually kick away.

Allen Nunez (‘26, FL) • 1B • 5'10" • Uncommited • 190 lbs
3-Run HR: 90.5 EV | 24.8°
Allen Nunez, prospect from Florida in the class of 2026, demonstrated impressive raw power at the recent game against FBA 17U. During his at-bat, Nunez executed a quick, tight turn on a changeup, getting out in front of the pitch and belting it to left field for a home run. Uncommitted prospect, shows the ability to hit the long ball. Gap to gap approach, swings with intent while ahead in the count.

Ollervides came in the first inning with bases loaded, got out of the jam, and never looked back. Striking out 7 batters through 3 ⅓IP, he strived with excellent location of both his FB and CB. FB held its plane well, with good RPM’s and late ride. Simple and repeatable mechanics aided him with tunnelling his CB off FB.

Scrappy at the plate, Martinez came through when it mattered most with a walkoff RBI 1B. Went down to get a low FB which was the 8th pitch of the AB, of which he had multiple PA of 7 or more pitches. Speed is Martinez’s biggest tool, both at the plate and on the basepathes.

Incredible athleticism displayed by speedy RHH who gets phenomenal jumps to steal 2 bases after his first AB. Proactive on the bases, he destabilized the pitchers with his aggressiveness. Wide stance at the plate, good shift transfer and quick jump out of the box secures him an RBI 2B to LF. With the sheer speed and athleticism on display, Garland Jr. is going to be an interesting player to be on the lookout for.

Joseph “Joey” Bologna (‘29, NY) • RHP/OF • 5’6” 150
13 y/o 2-way player with a fastball touching 80. He has smooth mechanics, working downhill and pitching out of a 3/4 arm slot. He pitches exclusively out of the stretch and controls the run game, going to a slide step with runners on base. Fernandez pitched 4 shutout innings and earned the win for Beast Baseball Academy on Sunday. Fernandez has a tall and lanky build that is very projectable with strength and velo to be added as he matures. He is a 2-way player and is very athletic. He pitches downhill from a high 3/4 arm slot. He repays his delivery well and attacks hitters inside, making for an uncomfortable at bat.
