Tyler O’Dell (‘30, FL) • UTIL  • 5’6 140lb

O’Dell was a key piece in his team's win, contributing both on the bump and with the bat. RHP with medium leg lift, full stroke and a H3/4 arm slot. Moves well down the mound. Strike thrower, who will induce weak contact. Was able to generate a few double plays throughout the game. He aided in a combined No Hitter, also helping himself at the plate with a 1B w/ an 81mph EV.

Matthew Downey (‘30, FL)  • RHP/OF • 5’9” 130 lb

Lanky RHP w/ full windup & good use of legs. Has a medium-high leg kick during delivery w/ an OTT arm angle. Works downhill great & uses his pitches w/ deception. Solid CB that he uses to get hitters out when ahead in the count & keep them unbalanced. At the plate he showed a dependable hit tool and worked pitchers deep into counts. Could be a two-way to keep an eye out for once he matures & fills out body.

Silas Anstett (‘30, FL) • UTIL • 5’8” 138lb

He contributed to his team's victory with every aspect of the game. He was a threat on the bases stealing two bags. Smooth hands, good foot work while in the field, turned 2 double plays, one of them being an unassisted double play. Athletic stance w/ short stride, staying connected finding this barrel for an 2RBI 2B w/ an 86mph EV to walk-off the run rule No Hitter against the opposition.

Lincoln Jones (‘29, FL) • SS/RHP • 6’3” 175lb

Jones impressed on both sides of the ball, showing his versatility as a two-way contributor. At the plate, he filled up the stat sheet with a hit, RBI, run scored, a walk, and a stolen base — impacting the game in multiple facets. On the mound, the long-limbed righty started the game and earned the win, tossing 3 scoreless innings while allowing just 1 H and K'ed 2, while running his FB up to 78mph. His tall frame should allow for more velo to come as he matures. His athleticism plays well across the diamond.

Maximilliano Ortega (‘29, FL) • 5’9 • 160lb • C/3B

Ortega showed his quickness and agility today behind the dish. Quick feet  and a smooth trasfer on his throw downs  all game allowed for a CSB  and a back pick. Showed quiet hands with firm wrists receiving the ball behind the plate. Expect some gritty play and continued athletic ability out of him as he continues to mature.

Diego Guilfu (‘28, Intl🇵🇷) • 3B/SS • 6’0” 150

Guilfu put on a show Saturday at the plate and in the field. He went 2-2 at the dish with a 2B and a 3B. Defensively, he made several nice plays at 3B, including a soft grounder to his left that he fielded on the run and threw across his body. Shows lots of athleticism with projectable frame that will fill out as he matures. Sparkplug that immediately catches your eye.

Reid Alberti (‘29, FL) • 5’9 • 135lb • RHP

Athletic RHP mowed his opposition down in a 4 inning CG shutout. Did a great job of controlling the game at his speed. He was slinging the ball from a 3/4 arm slot and mixed his pitches around the strike zone all game. Would love to see what a velo jump and a 3rd pitch would do to his game, good arm in the ‘29 class.

Trey Hamilton (‘29, FL) • RHP • 5’4” 140lb

Hamilton turned in one of the most impressive outings of the day, tossing 5 scoreless IP with 0 ER, while allowing just 3 H and K'ed 7. The right-hander showed mature pitchability for his age, mixing a riding fastball up to 79 mph with a sharp, high-spin curveball that tunneled effectively off the FB. His compact delivery, late arm speed, and ability to consistently spin the baseball make him a tough at-bat. Commanded both pitches well and showed poise in tight spots.

Michael Abrahan (‘30, FL) • LHP • 5’10” 145lb

Abrahan was a key piece in the win, produced at the plate as he walked twice and picked up a loud barrel for a base knock. He is an athletic LHH with a wide stance, minimal load, and a long-levered swing, creating a lot of power. He not only was a threat at the plate but also at the bases w/ a SB and a RS. He contributed on the bump as well. Smooth delivery, free and easy, with a compact stroke and a H3/4 arm slot. A lot of upside as he continues to mature and get stronger.

Tall RHP with good extension pitching from high ¾ slot. Murray features a 4-pitch mix with his fastball topping 83mph. Christian Montalvo (‘29,FL) • 6’0 • 170lb • RHP/1B

Montalvo was looking for the limelight today as he carried his team on both sides of the game. He was extremely efficient on the mound, only throwing 54 pitches in 4IP. He fanned 4 batters in his CG shutout and came up big at the dish with 2 2B’s. Looks to be a solid 2-way player in the ‘29 class.

Korey Davis (‘28, FL) • RHP • 5’5” 125

Davis dominated the opposition on Saturday with his fastball-SL combo. He pitched 4 shutout innings with 7 strikeouts. Davis had batters constantly guessing and chasing the Sweeping SL below the zone. He commanded his 2 pitches well. He also went 1 for 2 with a BB as a hitter.

Jaiden Erwin (‘30, FL) • OF • 5’7” • 140lbs

Erwin was on top of his game today, he looked confident at the plate, squared up balls, one of them being a 1B to LF that left the bat w/ an EV of 84.  RHH working w/ a slightly open stance, low leg lift and short stride. Has been able to find consistent barrels throughout the whole tournament. Interesting player to follow as the tournament comes to its final games!
