Shows a high, deliberate leg lift that helps him stay gathered and balanced throughout his delivery. Works from a clean ¾  arm slot w/ a smooth, repeatable arm path that allows him to consistently get out front and work downhill w/ intent. Generates solid angle and extension toward the plate, making his FB play up in the zone. Spins the breaking ball w/ confidence, flashing sharp, late movement and the ability to land it for strikes or use it as a chase pitch. Shows polished mechanics with room to further develop velocity and pitch refinement as he continues to mature.

Possesses a long, lanky frame with plenty of physical projection and room to add strength as he matures. Utilizes his length well to create extension toward the hitter, helping his pitches play up with late life. Demonstrates advanced feel for command at an early stage, attacking the zone w/ confidence and showing the potential to develop into a well-rounded arm.

Lean, athletic CF w/ room to add strength, showing solid body control and fluid movements at the plate. Utilizes a medium leg kick to create rhythm and generate momentum, loading into his backside efficiently. Features an upward bat path that allows him to get the ball in the air with carry, demonstrating the ability to drive pitches to the deep parts of the field. On this swing, he does an excellent job of adjusting to the pitch location, relying on his quick hands and bat path to stay through the ball and drive it to deep CF for a stand-up 2B. Shows a developing power profile w/ gap-to-gap potential and a mature ability to stay on plane and cover multiple zones.

Utilizes a high leg kick and short, controlled stride to create rhythm while maintaining balance throughout the swing. Shows good lower-half engagement, coiling into his back hip and syncing his weight transfer with a naturally lofty bat path. Stays on time and catches this pitch out front, driving it with authority for a hard-hit 3B to the pull side for 2 rbis. Displays advanced body control and the ability to generate lift without sacrificing bat speed or barrel accuracy.

Delivers from a H 3/4 arm slot with a clean, repeatable motion, allowing him to consistently work downhill and create natural tilt on his pitches. Shows advanced command of his FB, confidently locating to both the top and bottom of the strike zone, and challenging hitters in all quadrants. At 6’2” and 195 lbs, he already possesses a solid, athletic frame with the potential to continue filling out and adding strength, which should translate to increased velocity as he develops. His efficient mechanics and ability to stay on time suggest long-term durability and the potential for significant growth on the mound. Displays a composed presence and a solid foundation to build upon.

Handsy C showcasing pull side power w/ an RBI 2B to LCF. Uses toe tap load from wide stance to generate power from his lean frame. was a field general behind the plate throughout the game. Displayed solid weight transfer to his front side while trusting his hands at the plate. Athletic player w/ more power in the tank as he fills out his frame.

Henry Dement (‘28, NC) • RHP • 5’10 136lb


Lanky RHP w/ two pitch mix, SNK/SWP working E/W. Stuff plays horizontally w/ both offerings moving at least 24” HB to either direction. Attacked from a low ¾ slot w/ a long arm strike. Displayed ability to land SWP for strike and create chase. SNK created lots of weak ground balls. Dement has a truly shapes in his SNK/SWP combo. The velo should continue to shoot up as he fills out his frame and matures. A name that will be very interesting to watch develop over the next few years.

Shows advanced approach with two strikes—gets the barrel out front and drives this pitch down the 3B line for an RBI line drive 2B. Physical tools and present bat-to-ball skills make him a good follow.
