Jakubowicz displayed a three-pitch mix in his outing, utilizing a FB, SW, and CH.

•      Sweeper (SW):

Jakubowicz featured plus movement on all three of his offerings, as well as plus spin on his FB.  In a dominant showing, Jakubowicz went 3 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 10K and registered a 39.1% CSW%.


Joe Hendren, Natty Boys 17U (RHP, 2026):


Hendren displayed a four-pitch mix, mainly relying on his 4SFB and CU.  In his outing, Hendren went 4 IP, 1 ER, 4K. 

      Fastball (4SFB):

       o   Averaged 82 mph, T84.8

       o   Averaged 2150 RPM

       o   Averaged 11.1” of HB and 16.8” of IVB

      Changeup (CH):

       o   Averaged 73.9 mph, T75

       o   Averaged 1950 RPM

•     Slider (SL):

       o   Averaged 69.5 mph, T71.5

       o   Averaged -1.4” of HB and 1.3” of IVB

•     Curveball (CU):

       o   Averaged 67 mph, T68.9

       o   Averaged -6.8” of HB and -13.4” of IVB

Hendren registered a 30.3% CSW%, placing him in the top 20% of pitchers in the Palm Beach Open.


Christopher Martinez, South FL Bulls 18U Libertatem (RHP, 2025):


Martinez displayed a two-pitch mix including a 4SFB with plus spin and SW with plus HB.  In his outing, Martinez went 5 IP, 0 ER, 6K.


•     Fastball (4SFB):

       o   Averaged 82.3 mph, T85.5

       o   Reached 2500+ RPM

       o   Averaged 8.6” of HB and 14.1” of IVB

•     Sweeper (SW):

Tyler Hagan, T.C. Legends (LHP, 2026):


Hagan utilized two pitches in an impressive outing, showcasing a 4SFB and a plus SW.

        o   Averaged -9” of HB and 11.3” of IVB

        o   Averaged 2000 RPM

•      Sweeper (SW):

        o   Averaged 68.2 mph, T69.2

        o   Averaged 17.1” of HB and -3.6” of IVB

        o   Averaged 2360 RPM

Hagan displayed impressive spin and movement on his SW, helping him register a 44.4% CSW% (1st amongst pitchers with at least 25+ pitches thrown in an outing). **FlightScope Field Only**


Jake Reinhardt, P413 Baseball 16U Adams (RHP, 2027):


Reinhardt heavily relied on a riding 4SFB (93% usage) and complemented it with a tight SL.

•      Fastball (4SFB):

        o   Averaged 81.4 mph, T83.5

        o   Averaged 2030 RPM

        o   Averaged 10.4” of HB and 16.5” of IVB

•      Slider (SL):

        o   Averaged 74.1 mph, T75.7

Reinhardt dominated in his outing, registering a 40% CSW% and racking up the most swinging strikes in any outing this tournament (16). **FlightScope Field Only**

Batters:


Devin Kendall, East Cobb Colt 45s 17U (RHH, 2026):


Kendall showcased plus power, crushing a homerun to left field, along with registering the following batted balls:

•      HR (101.77 EV, 34.4° LA, 350’)

•      Flyout (92.5 EV)

Kendall also displayed a mature approach, seeing 4.33 pitches / PA.  Additionally, Kendall showcased a line drive approach at the plate, registering an average LA of 17.2ۥ°.


Jadiel Perez, Natty Boys 17U (RHH, 2026):


Perez crushed three balls over 90 mph, good for first in the entire tournament.  Notable batted balls include:

•      3B (101.2 EV, 28.3° LA, 367.7’)

•      2B (99.1 EV, 32.1° LA, 328.1’)

•      Flyout (95.8 EV, 35.2° LA, 319.2’)

Perez displayed a tendency to do damage on low FBs, with each of his base hits coming on pitches in the lower half of the strike zone.  Attached is Perez’s strike zone heat map on base hits.

Eddie Fernandez, Wolverines Baseball 16U (RHH, 2028):


Fernandez registered two batted balls over 90 mph, including the following: 

•      1B (95.2 EV, 12.7° LA, 222’)

•      HR (93 EV, 28.8° LA, 316.6’)

Fernandez showcased plus adjustability at the plate, as his 1B was hit off of a FB and his HR was hit off of a CU.  Further, Fernandez looked to drive the ball in the air, as 100% of his batted balls were either fly balls or line drives.


Noah Bramble, P413 Baseball 17U Corbett (RHH, 2026):


Bramble showcased impressive power, registering three batted balls over 85 mph:

•      2B (94.9 EV, 22.1° LA, 312.5’)

•      HR (91.3 EV, 38° LA, 321’)

•      Flyout (87.1 EV, 38.7°, 309.4’)

Bramble displayed an aggressive approach, looking to drive the ball without sacrificing his ability to make contact (100% Z-Swing %, 100% Z-Contact %).  Further, Bramble showcased the ability to make hard contact with both FBs and off speed / breaking pitches, registering a 94.9 EV on a FB and an 87.1 EV on a SL.


Dual Threats:


Darren Ochoa, T.C. Legends (RHH/RHP, 2026):


Ochoa showcased potential as a two-way player, stepping on the mound as well as registering two batted balls over 90 mph.

•      2B (92.2 EV, 10.5° LA, 187’)

•      Fielder’s Choice (91.9 EV)

•      1B (88.4 EV)

Ochoa also showcased a two-pitch mix, utilizing a 4SFB and SL in his outing.

•      Fastball (4SFB):

       o   Averaged 78.2 mph, T79.9

       o   Averaged 5.8” of HB and 16.1” of IVB

•      Slider (SL):

       o   Averaged 68.3 mph, T70.1

       o   Averaged -2.6” of HB and -5” of IVB

Ochoa displayed impressive deception and great command of the strike zone, registering a 36.4% CSW%, fueled by an outstanding 14 called strikes on 44 total pitches (2 swinging strikes).


Drake Sauber, P413 Baseball 17U Corbett (RHH/RHP, 2026):


Sauber registered 1 batted ball over 90 mph, a 2B that was crushed at 94.3 mph EV and 328.1’.

•      2B (94.3 EV, 31° LA, 328.1’)

•      Flyout (83.1 EV)

Further, Sauber stepped on the mound and showcased a three-pitch mix, highlighted by a 4SFB that almost topped 90 mph.

•      Fastball (4SFB):

        o   Averaged 87.3 mph, T89.7

        o   Averaged 2010 RPM

•      Changeup (CH):

        o   Averaged 76.6 mph, T77.3
