Worked a 7 pitch AB before ripping a clutch RBI 2B down LF line. Wide stance with a quick tempo stride and connected upper half. Strong hands to and through point of contact with an uphill attack angle and high two handed finish. Puts pressure on defense with aggressive base running.

Simple windup delivery, with a 3-pitch mix on the bump. FB topped at 84mph and located it in all quadrants of the zone. SL had late downward break producing whiffs all game. CH with late depth generated weak contact and roll-overs. Medium leg lift with a ¾ arm slot, good tempo throughout the game, hid the ball well and kept hitters off balance.

Busted the FB in on hitters consistently, making for some uncomfortable ABs. The highlight of the outing was his wipeout CB, making hitters all game. ¾ arm slot, staying tall on the mound with great hip-to-shoulder separation. Medium leg kick on the mound working downhill; projectable player looking to fine-tune his arsenal as he continues to develop.

The long-limbed RHP had a dominant start to secure the win for his team and take them to the championship. Wood starts his delivery off in an upright set up, with relaxed hands. He gets into a big leg lift, keeps his weight on his backside & engages his hips. Coming from an OTT arm slot. Handled himself well with runners on, showing composure and the ability to get himself out of messes. Projectable frame with room to fill out and see a jump in velo.

Quick reaction time to the bump field's position, fielding multiple comebackers during his time on the mound.

Leaned heavily on the fastball throughout the outing, mixing in a slider to change looks. The heater played well all game, keeping hitters off balance and in defensive swings. Dominated in his outing today showcasing a mature feel for in and around the strike zone.

Strong RHH with a wide base and minimal low leg lift. Quick, short swing that stays inside the ball. Catches a heater out front and drives it to the LF fence for a double. Lean RHH with a wide stance and minimal load. Quick hands, stays inside the ball. Jumps on a first-pitch FB & shoots it the other way for a base hit. Simple, efficient swing with strength at contact.

RHP pitched a very good game in the championship, only allowing 1 ER, which was the deciding factor. Calm in intense moments, making a diving play off the mound to turn a double play. Good feel for the pitching arsenal, getting hitters to make weak contact throughout the day while also racking up 3 K on the bump. Calm and collective intensity on the mound, not letting the intense moments get to him.

The RHP had a very good feel on the mound, picking up the W in the championship game. FB has life-generating whiffs at a very high rate, dotting the outside part of the plate. CB breaks coming off the hand with ease, generating weak contact throughout the day. A collective mindset always keeps him composed in high-intensity moments. Showed up where he needed it most in the championship, a game that went into extra innings.
