Averaging 95 mph and T99, Oklahoma commit Savion Sims showcased a dominant 4SFB that racked up 13 swings and misses on 42 pitches. Further, Sims threw a tight SL that averaged 85.7 mph, T87.1. Sims reached a maximum 7’6” of extension on his delivery. The elite combination of velocity and extension allowed Sims the ability to pitch up in the zone and miss the barrel at an above average rate. This is seen as Sims generated a 41.2% CSW% and had a 58.8 average EV allowed. In truly dominant fashion, Sims went 3 IP, striking out 6 and only allowing 1 baserunner.

Ivan Sabater, 2026 (RHP) • The Original Florida Pokers
USF commit Ivan Sabater showcased an above average movement profile, with his 4SFB having 16.4” IVB and 11.8” HB (as well as averaging 89 mph, T92). Sabater effectively killed the spin on his changeup, going from 2170 avg RPM on his 4SFB to 1460 avg RPM on his CH. In addition to this steep difference in spin rate, his CH averaged 81.9 mph and T83.8, all while having over 15.3” of average HB. Sabater also displayed a SW, which averaged 77.3 mph and T81.5. Further, his SW averaged -14.9” of average HB and 0” average IVB, making it a true east to west SW. Sabater was a crucial part of the Original Florida Pokers 2026 playoff appearance appearing in 2 games in which he went 7 IP, 0 ER, and 7 K.

Aidan Kastensmidt, 2026 (RHH) • Gatorball
Jacksonville commit Aidan Kastensmidt showcased promising two-way potential en route to a championship win for Gatorball 17u. At the plate, Kastensmidt hit 3 batted balls over 90 mph, notably:
· 2B (97.2 EV, 26.4° LA, 323.9’)
· 2B (93.1, 28.4° LA, 325.6’)
· 1B (92.7 EV)
Kastensmidt also had a miniscule 10% whiff rate over the course of the tournament, swinging and missing twice over 21 total swings. Further, Kastensmidt displayed impressive plate coverage skills as he registered base hits across several areas of zone, showcasing an above average hit tool. Kastensmidt’s ability to impact the baseball, as well as make contact at an above average rate, showcase a promising future at Jacksonville for the 2026 graduate.

Michael Ramsey, 2026 (RHP) • Orlando Scorpions
Ramsey displayed one of the most impressive 4SFBs of the entire tournament in his two outings. The 4SFB averaged 89.8 mph and T92.8. Further, Ramsey’s 4SFB also had over 15.9” of average IVB and 6” of average HB, profiling as a FB with above average ride. In addition to his FB, Ramsey also offered a CB that averaged 76.5 mph and T81, as well as having 6.6” of average HB and -12.8” avg IVB. Ramsey was able to register an impressive 36% CSW% in large part due to his approach on the mound, as he threw his 4SFB near the top of the zone and tunneled his CB. Ramsey’s release height (6’4”) also showed no deviation between the two pitches, further adding to his deception. Ramsey played a large role in the success of Scorpions 2026 Scout on their way to a championship appearance.


Hayden Robinson, 2026 (LHP) • X Team Baseball
Robinson utilized a two-pitch mix, showcasing a SNK with heavy arm side run and a CB. The SNK averaged 84.4 mph, T86.8 and averaged -15.5” of HB and 7.1” of IVB. Robinson also threw from a sub 5’ release height, making it tough for hitters to get on plane with his SNK. In addition, Robinson’s CB averaged 70.6 mph, T71.8 and averaged 12.4” of HB and -13.9” IVB. Robinson showcased an above average movement profile en route to a 46.9% CSW%, including 10 swinging strikes on 49 pitches.

AJ Cruz, 2026 (RHH) • Elite Squad
Cruz displayed impressive power with a wood bat, having 3 batted balls over 90 mph. Notable batted balls include:
