Jayden Garcia (‘27, FL) • 2B • Uncommitted • 5’4 • 130lb
Jayden came up big for the Scorpions South Florida 2027 today, putting together a couple good at bats in the game, the most important one being the go-ahead RBI double down the left field line. Garcia laced a ball with an exit velocity of 90mph. Garcia came up big when it mattered most, ultimately helping his Scorpions win to advance.
Jake Chacko (‘27, FL) • RHP • Uncommitted • 5’10” • 170lb
Jake was another big reason for the Scorpions South Florida 2027’s big win today. Chacko came on to relieve Luis Colon Jr, and gave the Scorpions nothing to worry about. Chacko’s final line for the game earned him the win, going 3.1 scoreless innings, while giving up only 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 walks, and striking out 2.

Grayson Davis (‘27, FL) • RHP • Uncommitted • 6’0 • 165lbs
CG / 7IP / 3H / 0R / 3BB / 6K
Lanky RHP, has a high leg kick, drops and drives down the slope. OTT arm angle, and a high effort delivery. A lot of room to grow. Grayson was one of the key factors for the big win from the SWFL Surge. He was able to keep the other team at bay by switching tempos, mixing speeds, and being consistent with his delivery. He was able to tunnel pitches incredibly well which led him to have an amazing start. As he continues to mature and fill out there will be a pitch speed spike. An interesting arm to keep a look out for.

Reece Ward (‘28, FL) • 1B/3B • 6’0” 190
Ward was called on to pinch hit for the Scorpions and delivered the game-winning base hit to left centerfield. Ward utilized a 2-strike approach with no stride. He gained power from quick hands and a good weight shift from his back to front leg. He was able to flatten out his bat path to square up the high FB. Strongly built corner infielder, an intriguing player to watch throughout high school.

Michael Drucker (‘28, FL) • SS • 5’9” 155

Owen Hewitt (‘28, FL) • 3B • 6’1” 185
Hewitt led the Gators in hits, runs, and RBI in their 9-0 victory on Tuesday. He sets up at the plate with a wide stance, keeping most of his weight on his back leg. He then coils inward, takes a small stride and pushes off his back leg, clearing his front hip and sending the bat to the ball with a direct bat path. Will develop more power as he matures, intriguing corner infielder to keep an eye on through high school.

Guerrero did it all for his team in the 15U American Championship Game. He displayed impressive power, hitting the game’s only home run, a 3 run homer to left field. He also stole 2 bases and scored 3 runs. Guerrero is a 5-tool player that has shown an impressive ability to get his entire body into his swing at such a young age. Flowers collected 3 hits and 3 runs in the 15U American Championship Game, helping lead his team to victory. One of his hits was a double that traveled 299 feet and was hit at 93.7 MPH. Flowers is a prototypical middle of the order power hitter with quick hands and an uphill bat path. He already has incredibly impressive power for a 15-year-old, and he will only continue to improve as he matures.

Hunter Mercer (‘27, FL) • CF • Uncommitted • 5’6” • 170lb
Final Line: 2-3, 3B, 2RBI, 1R, 1BB, 1SB
Mercer was the steady bat at the top of the lineup for the Natty Boys as they cruised to a 9-1 win. Mercer began the day with a lead off triple, and didn’t look back from there. Reaching base 3 times, Mercer possesses great bat-to-ball skills with his short and compact swing. He was able to utilize his speed on the base paths as well, stealing a base and scoring later on a wild pitch. He also made both routine and tougher plays in centerfield, showing even more of his tool set. An interesting and promising player to follow over the next couple of months.

Rylan Bradley (‘26, FL) •RHP • Uncommitted • 6’1” • 160lb
Final Line: 4IP, 4H, 0R, 1BB, 3K
Another standout for the Natty Boys, Bradley came on in relief and gave the opposing team no chance for a comeback. Bradley uses his 2 pitch mix very well, tunneling his CB off of his rising FB. Topping out at 89, Rylan was able to locate both sides of the plate as well as steal many low strikes as well. Rylan is a very promising follow to watch, as he has tons of room to grow in his lanky body. Can see him helping out a lot of staffs at the next level.

Jose Malave ('26, FL) RHP • 6'3 • 225Lbs
FB: 85-87 T89
CB: 75-76
Strong RHP with a 90° release and fast arm whip. He gets into his back leg to gain momentum down the mound, doing a good job of blocking with a strong lead leg to transfer energy into his upper body. His arm path is easy-going and repeatable. Malave pounded the zone with a lively FB and used a deceiving CB as a strikeout pitch. One out short of a CG, he ended his outing recording 8 Ks through 5.2 IP.

Jackson Okonkwo ('25, VA) RHP • 6'5 • 215Lbs
FB: 87-89 T92
CB: 76-78
A strong tall RHP with a 3/4 arm slot. He showcases a great mechanical motion by getting deep shoulder/hip separation and quick clean arm path. Okonkwo does a great job of blocking with his lead leg which transfers his momentum into upper body energy. He had no issue pounding both sides of the zone and creating whiffs with his sharp arm-side run FB. Paired with his FB was a CB that kept moving all the way to the plate, making it difficult for hitters to put a barrel on it. He offered two different high leg raises that distracted the hitters and threw their timing off. Okonkwo was electric on the mound and made his presence known throughout his outing.

Lanky RHP with tons of room to grow and fill out his 6’1 frame. Works with a H ¾ arm slot and drops and drives creating a lot of torque with a phenomenal shoulder/hip separation. Add all this on top of his impressive Ext at 6’11”. He moves extremely well down the mound. Smooth and effortless delivery. Not only was he able to keep the opposition at bay, but he was very efficient, coming into his last inning of work with only 55 pitches. An arm to be on the look out for as he continues to develop and strengthen. Will be a valuable acquisition at whatever level he may end up.

Also, consistent repetition of his mechanics throughout the whole start. Will be an arm that could take over the spotlight as he continues to mature and fill out. Had an outstanding performance on the bump holding the oppositions’ offense. His presence on the bump, ability to tunnel his pitches, and ability to repeat his mechanics makes him an eye catching option for the upcoming class.

Austin Tack ('29, FL) • RHP • 6’1” 205lb
Physical and polished at 6’1” 205lb, Austin Tack continues to prove he’s one of the most advanced arms in his class. The RHP attacks hitters with a sinking FB at 81–83 mph, spinning in the 1900+ rpm range with 6” of IVB and 4” of HB, paired with a sharp 11-6 CB with late bite. Tack was dominant in his most recent outing, going 5 scoreless innings with 9 strikeouts and 12 whiffs. His frame and mechanics suggest there’s more in the tank, and the pitch metrics already flash high-level potential. A high-floor, high-ceiling arm that should be on every scout’s radar.

Brady Lavado (‘29, NC) • OF • 5’9” 176lb
Explosive RHH with impressive raw power for his age and build. Lavado hammered a double off the wall into LCF with authority—measured at 106 mph exit velocity, 17° launch angle, and 296 feet of carry despite wind blowing in. Balanced setup with a strong lower half and compact swing that creates loud contact to all fields. Barrel stays in the zone with intent to do damage. One of the more physical bats in the ‘29 class—an early power threat with standout metrics.

Poised right-hander with efficient mechanics and strong mound presence. Dempsey worked five scoreless innings, allowing just four hits while striking out five and issuing no walks. He pounded the zone with a fastball that topped at 78 mph and paired it with a 67–70 mph sweeping slider that generated soft contact and disrupted timing. Showed clean arm action, repeatable delivery, and advanced feel for sequencing. Strong outing with excellent command and polish for his age. One to follow closely as velocity continues to build.

Final Line (2 games): 3-4, 2B, 1BB, 3SB.
Final Pitching Line: 2IP, 0H, 0R, 3BB, 4K
Have a day Camden McFadden! He helped lead the 2027 Gators Blue to 2 wins yesterday, showing up in big spots and shutting the door on the mound. McFadden’a only non hit, he reached on an error and stretched it to what would’ve been a triple. He showed good discipline at the plate during his at-bats, going with the pitches he saw and making the most out if his swings. On the mound, he was able to command the strike zone with all pitches, keeping hitters off-balance and inducing weak contact. McFadden should be a high follow for the rest of summer on all big boards.

Final Line: 2-4, 3B
Ethan had a great day at the plate. Over the 2 game span, he put up 2 hits, including a loud triple to RCF. Till put up consistent at-bats yesterday, putting the ball in play often and with pace. In centerfield, he was a lockdown defender, making all routine and tough plays in gaps. Till is an intriguing guy to follow for the rest of the summer and into the fall.

Chase Crawford (‘26, FL) • OF • Uncommitted • 5’11 • 165lb

In a heated game, Crawford kept his emotions in check, and showed up in the biggest moment of the game, lacing a ball into the LCF gap to win the ballgame. Trenton Robinson (‘26, GA) • CF/RHP • Uncommitted • 5’11” • 163lb
Final Line: 4IP, 1H, 0R, 1BB, 1K
Robinson was dominant on the mound today, but not in the way most would think. He didn’t rack up the strikeouts, nor blow it by anyone. He did it by pitching to contact and letting players get themself out, and that’s exactly what happened. Robinson induced nothing but weak contact and missed barrels throughout his start. He was surgical with his pitch ability, using his 3 pitch mix whenever and however he needed it in any situation during the game. As a very athletic CF, there is lots of potential to be transferred to the mound, using his movements to create a very smooth delivery. Robinson is a player to watch for not only this tournament, but for the remainder of the summer as well.
