Baylor Pavone (‘28, NC) • OF/RHP • Uncommitted • 6’ 140lbs
Works from the stretch with a medium leg lift and quiet hands, staying compact through separation. His arm action is clean and slightly abbreviated, working from a high three-quarters slot that helps generate some arm-side run action. The lower half stays engaged through the stride, and he finishes square with a steady head throughout. It’s a smooth, repeatable operation that projects well for strike-throwing ability.

Charlie Arcidiacono (‘30, NC) - LHP - 5’8” - 135lb
Final Line: 3IP, 2H, 0ER, 0BB, 1K
Arcidiacono was able to hold Barwis Baseball to nothing in his 3 innings of relief, giving 13 SBA Carolina Reynolds every chance to mount a comeback. He controlled the strike zone with his FB and kept opposing hitters off balanced and on their front foot with his CB. He was effective in his outing by forcing weak contact and not many hard-hit balls. A solid arm to keep an eye on for the remainder of the summer.

Mason Suarez
(‘30, FL) - RHP - 5’8” - 130lb
FInal Line: 5IP, 4H, 2R, 1ER, 0BB, 1K
Suarez provided the Original Florida Pokers 2030 with a quality start, tossing 5 innings and only giving up 2 runs, with 1 of them being earned. He used his deception and ability to locate his pitches to induce weak contact and keep hitters guessing. He showed good pitch-ability, locating his FB and CB where and when he needed to, and hitting his spots in key situations throughout the game. A solid arm to follow through the summer.

Brysen Williams (‘27, NC) • OF/RHP • Uncommitted • 5’3 120lbs
Williams is a RHP with room to fill out and added strength likely to come. He moves well downhill and shows good flexibility through the lower half. Works from the stretch with a smooth, repeatable tempo and a controlled leg lift. Arm path is loose and clean, working into a low three-quarters release that creates natural run. Stays connected through the delivery and finishes on-line with steady posture. Had himself an impressive outing today in his start, dominating hitters. Up to 84 with his FB and 71 with his SL.

Baylor Pavlone (‘28, NC) • OF/RHP • Uncommitted • 6’ 140
Pavlone is an athletic RHP with room to add more strength as he continues to develop. Operates from the stretch using a simple, well-paced delivery that stays under control throughout. His arm action is clean and connected, coming through an over the top slot with some late whip out front. Stays in line with good direction and finishes balanced, helping him repeat consistently. His overall delivery is smooth and efficient, showing early signs of pitchability. It’ll be nice to see how he matures.

Ean Johanning (‘29, SC) • C • 5’11” • 165lb
Final Line: 3-3, 2B, 3B, 2 RBI, 1R, 1BB, 1SB
Johanning did everything in his power to give USA Prime Carolina 14u the victory today, reaching base all 4 times and driving in multiple runs. He showed great bat-to-ball skills, and power to all parts of the field, with a double to LF and a triple to RCF. Johanning swung the bat exceptionally well all tournament long, and should be a high follow for the rest of the summer and into the fall.

Braxton Thompson (‘28, NC) • RHP/SS • Uncommitted • 6’ 160lbs
Thompson was easily one of the best arms of the entire tournament, and proved it in today's championship game in which he pitched an absolute clinic. He’s an athletic two-way player who will be a starting pitcher to keep an eye on in the future with his ability to dominate hitters, and deceive them to the fullest. He works from a simple, yet aggressive delivery with a clean takeaway and consistent tempo throughout. He has high-level arm action in which he throws in a high 3/4 slot with whipping action as he releases the pitch with looseness out front. His fastball gets on top hitters, with high vertical movement that makes him uncomfortable to face. He also showcases a tight slider that is difficult for hitters to get the bat on. Will be an arm that can play at a high level in the future.
