Lanky frame w/ projection to fill out as he continues to mature. Shows athletic movements, and body control. Uses a minimal coil load w/ a smooth toe tap to stay on time, and an uphill barrel path that allows him to get the hands in and turn on this pitch for an RBI 2B down the line. Dependable infield defense, showing clean footwork, soft hands, and the ability to make plays on the move.

Strong, physical frame w/ a compact stance and minimal load. Stays balanced through the swing w/ a quick trigger and direct bat path. Drives a hard-hit 2B to straightaway CF, showcasing his ability to square up good velocity and generate gap-to-gap power.

Projectable young RHP with more velo in the tank as he fills out his lanky frame. High leg lift, stays stacked and rides the tension down the mound, rotates quickly through the hips. Short/compact arm action throwing from a OTT angle. Advanced 4-pitch mix w/ command of all pitches. FB  has some ride and jumps on hitters. Advanced feel for the CH racking up whiffs with it in 2K counts. Mixed in two distinct breaking balls, a CB and SL, to keep hitters off balance.

Athletic stance, stays grounded in the rear leg with quick rotational power through the hips. Slightly uphill swing path allows him to get the barrel out front and impact the baseball with intent. Shows early signs of power potential, and as he continues to add strength and refine his approach, there's plenty of offensive upside to project. Athletic movements and clean mechanics suggest continued growth at the plate.

Upright stance with a low leg lift and a compact, direct swing path. Quick hands and advanced barrel control allow him to get on plane early and stay through the zone. Caught barrels consistently throughout the day, showing a mature approach and the ability to adjust to different pitch types. As he continues to add strength, the consistent feel for the barrel should translate to even more impact at the plate.

Athletic two-way player with a mature presence on both sides of the ball. At the plate, starts from an upright, short stance with a low leg lift that extends into the front side while coiling into the rear hip. Shows balance and body control through the swing with quick hands and the ability to track and adjust late. Compact, efficient swing paired with a disciplined approach allows him to stay competitive in any count. On the mound, works with simple, repeatable mechanics out of a standard wind-up. Sits deep into the back leg with quick rotational power, hiding the ball well to create deception. FB jumps on hitters, and he mixes in a well-shaped SLRV while commanding the two pitch mix in the zone. Generates  weak contact and swing-and-miss. Two-way potential as he continues to physically develop and refine his tools.

Projectable lanky frame w/ room to add strength as he matures. Uses a long, low leg lift paired with a controlled, balanced load to stay on time and drive through the ball. Sinks into his backside well, generating torque with his lower half and showcasing a handsy, inside-out approach. Gets the barrel to a tough inside pitch, dropping it into the 3-4 hole for a sharp RBI 1B that tied the game late. Continues to show poise in big moments w/ quality ABs and the ability to handle pressure situations.

Stays tall in the back leg, generating plus internal rotation in the front side during his leg lift. Uses a long, direct bat path to consistently barreled balls, and this linedrive double showcased his ability to drive the ball with authority and precision when it matters most. Confident in big moments and mechanically sound, he’s a player who thrives in high-pressure situations.

Walker McPherson (‘29,NC) • LHP • 5’7 140lb


Dominant LHP who filled up the zone all day with confidence and intent. High-level competitor with a bulldog mentality on the mound, showing poise in every situation. FB plays heavy with late arm-side run and fade, consistently challenging hitters inside and inducing weak contact. Slider tunnels well off the FB with sharp break and depth, and he showed the ability to land it in any count. Changeup was a legit third pitch—deceptive arm speed and consistent feel, working well off the fastball to keep hitters guessing. Mixed all three offerings effectively, changing eye levels and working both sides of the plate. Rarely gave hitters a chance to get comfortable, missing barrels and generating soft contact throughout the outing. Mature presence on the mound with pitchability, feel, and competitive edge.

Extremely toolsy and fundamentally sound 2-way prospect who showed off his full skill set in a big-time performance. Earned the win on the mound with a composed, clutch outing. Pounded the zone, competed with every pitch, and came up with big outs when it mattered most. At the plate, delivered in the biggest moment of the game with a walk-off hit, showing a calm approach and the ability to slow the game down. Plays with a high baseball IQ and confidence beyond his years. Impact player who affects the game in all phases, defensively, offensively, and on the mound.
