Pitchers:
Reese Davis, Marucci Prospects East Coast 2026 (2026, RHP)
Reese Davis led all pitchers at the Mid Atlantic World Series in terms of velocity, topping out 88.8mph. His fastball, which sat at 86 mph, also averaged 15.3’’ of IVB. Davis also showcased a curveball which averaged 2355 rpm and an impressive -17.8’’ of IVB. The RHP also averaged 6’3’’ of extension, which makes the perceived velocity of these pitches appear even faster. Davis was a problem for hitters all weekend, only allowing a 67.4mph average exit velocity.

Noah Caruso, DMV Prospects 2028 (2028, RHP/SS)
RHP Noah Caruso relied mainly on a two-pitch mix in his outing, throwing a fastball and slider. The fastball, which topped out at 82.9mph, also averaged 2063rpm and 19.6’’ of IVB, causing the pitch to look like it is rising. The slider also topped out at 2067rpm and averaged -13.11’’ of HB. Caruso’s impressive performance during bracket play featured a 43% CSW% and an average exit velocity of 68.8mph. Andrew Kirk, Dig In Nation (2026, RHP/SS)
Andrew Kirk’s four-pitch arsenal was led by his fastball, which he used 43% of the time and topped out at 85.7mph. This pitch, which had a 32% Whiff% during bracket play, was a big part of Kirk’s success on the mound this weekend. Kirk also featured a slider, which had a 44% CSW% and averaged -15.1’’ of HB. He also featured a sweeper which got up to -21.6’’ of HB. Kirk’s pitch mix gave him a 63% Strike% during bracket play.

Gavin Knox, Stars Marucci 2027 (2027, RHP)
Gavin Knox featured a three-pitch mix of a fastball, cutter and slider in his successful playoff outing. Knox’s fastball reached up to 2283 rpm and topped out at 88.27 mph, which was the second fastest of all pitchers at the Mid Atlantic World Series. His slider was a problem for hitters all game, having a 75% CSW%. Knox had an aggressive approach with his cutter, which had a 90% Strike% on the day. This impressive pitch arsenal led to Knox allowing only four balls in play over three innings of work, with an average exit velocity of 66 mph.

Hitters:
Aiden Carlson, Triple Crown (2026, SS/RHP)
Aiden Carlson put on a show at the plate during the Mid Atlantic World Series, recording six batted balls with an exit velocity of 85 mph or higher, topping out at 92.4mph. He also had one of the only home runs on the weekend, which had an 88.1mph exit velocity. Carlson showcased the ability to do damage to both fastballs and offspeed pitches. He had an average exit velocity of 78 mph during bracket play.

Teagan Leach, Stars Marucci 2027 (2027, 1B/LHP)
Teagan Leach flashed his power at the plate this weekend, leading all hitters at the Mid Atlantic World Series with four batted balls with an exit velocity of 90 mph or higher. Leach had the highest average exit velocity of any hitter at the event, coming in at 91.3 mph. He was seeing the ball well all weekend, which led to an incredible 0% Whiff%. Leach also had the 4th farthest ball hit of the weekend, coming in at just under 321 feet.
Jake Andersen, Ontario Blue Jays 14U Major (2028, SS/OF)
Jake Andersen had one of the best playoff performances of any player at the Mid Atlantic World Series. Andersen tacked on three hits, two of them with an exit velocity over 90mph. He hit a double in the championship game which carried just under 292 feet, which was good for top five in the 14u division. Andersen only had one swing and miss in the playoffs and played a major role in helping Ontario Blue Jays 14U Major secure the championship.
Two-Ways:
Micah Nelson, PA Rebels 2028 Lindros (2028, LHP/CF)
Micah Nelson recorded four batted balls with an exit velocity of 80 mph or higher during bracket play, including a triple which registered at 87.6 mph. In the playoffs, where he both pitched and hit, he took it up another notch with an 88 mph single. The young LHP also got up to 83.1 mph with his fastball, which averaged 13.1’’ of IVB. Nelson was able to generate 11 whiffs with his four-pitch mix and allowed an average exit velocity of 69.5 mph.

Dom Innocenti, Warehouse Grizzlies Black (2026, SS/RHP)
Dom Innocenti was one of the premier power arms at the Mid Atlantic World Series. His fastball, which topped out at 87.95 mph, was the 3rd hardest at the entire event. Innocenti had a 54% fastball usage during his playoff performance, and hitters struggled with the pitch due to its 16.8’’ average IVB and 6’5’’ of extension. Innocenti also recorded five batted balls with an exit velocity of 80 mph or higher throughout the weekend, topping out at just under 89 mph.
