Ten (10) year collegiate and professional playing career (Indiana University, Seattle Mariners draft pick)

Eric was a 4-sport athlete out of Greenville High School (OH) where he was a Mizuno All-Ohio selection. He earned his B.S. in Kinesiology and Sports Marketing at Indiana University-Bloomington while garnering All-Big Ten Academic and Athletic honors. Drafted in the 21st round of the 2002 draft, Eric signed and played four (4) years in the Seattle Mariners farm system reaching as high as AAA.


After his stint with Seattle, Eric started Diamond Kings Baseball and Softball Training Academy. While training 100’s of youth players each year, he also chose to return to playing professional baseball and won a Northern League Championship with the Gary Southshore RailCats. Eric spent the next decade owning and operating Diamond Kings while founding the Crossroads Baseball Series in 2008; promoting uncommitted amateur players to colleges/universities via Select Showcase events. During that same year, Diamond Kings kicked off the 1st HS Fall Baseball League (HSFBL). Under the Crossroads umbrella, the HSFBL runs Fall leagues in 50 cities across the Midwest. Over 2000 players that have competed in Crossroads Select events have moved on to compete at 275+ Colleges/Universities.
